MATERIAL MASTER™ V-KNIFE BULK BAG DISCHARGING AND FEEDING SYSTEM

GENERAL SPECIFICATIONS:

• Bolt down stationary design.

• Main frame is 67½” square x 117” tall and constructed 4″ and 5″ square x ¼” wall carbon steel structural tube with capped ends, all welds continuous.

• Unit has a 10,500# operational capacity.

• Carbon steel hopper is 52″ square x 73½” tall and removable side panels for maintenance purposes, and a rectangular flanged discharge outlet for connection to custom horizontal screw feeder.

• The carbon steel discharge hopper features a V-knife assembly and full perimeter dust plenum with 6” dust takeoff stub. Product contact surfaces feature abrasion resistant steel.

• V-knife assembly constructed of heavy-duty steel with removable tool steel blades. Includes a custom removable knife guard (not shown) for operator safety during maintenance.

• Connected to the discharge of hopper is a custom 6″ horizontal screw feeder which feeds into a 9″ inclined screw conveyor with a discharge height of approximately 10′.

• System includes a custom load cell package with digital weight indicator for accurate weight read outs.

• NEMA 4 control enclosure includes a motor VFD drive package for feeding rate control.

• The carbon steel framework is cleaned and painted MTS Blue using an industrial PPG DTM Durethane finishing system.
